Ascari to debut the 625bhp A10 at the 2006 MPH show in Birmingham

British Supercar manufacturer, Ascari announced that'll make the world debut of its A10 model at the MPH show in Birmingham (October 28). According to the Ascari, the A10 is the British answer to the Ferrari Enzo FXX.

While we don't know if A10 can stand up to the challenge, we do know that whereas the 1.5m EUR Enzo FXX is not road legal you can take the A10 on a spin anywhere (its road legal) and it costs half as much as the Ferrari (522.000 EUR). But even if you have that kind of cash floating around your bank account, you'd better keep your pant's on as only 10 A10 will be built.

Designed, engineered and hand built in Banbury, England, the thinly based on the Ascari KZ1, A10 wears a previous BMW M5 5.0 V8 engine with an output of 625bhp. It weighs in at around 1200kg, thanks to its lightweight carbon fibre bodywork. Reaching 60mph in just 2.8 seconds and 100mph in less than 6 seconds, the manufacturer claims the A10 is the fastest road going production car around a race track.
