Another week, another Hamann Ferrari F430. Well, this time it’s the rag-top F430 and thanks God, without all the “Black Miracle” coloured blasphemy. Hamann’s Spider has received a discreet bodykit promising to optimize aerodynamics with the addition of a front spoiler, a newly designed rear diffuser and a rear spoiler -we could do without that. Interestingly, all add-on parts are optionally available in carbon-kevlar or fiberglass version. You can also choose between a variety of multispoke 19’’ or 20’’ rims. Mechanic-wise, Hamann’s Spider gets the same treatment as the Black “plague” Miracle with a new high-performance sports exhaust system including a high-performance collector and sports catalysts that allows a a performance increase of 50Hp putting up the total output to 540Hp.Via: Motorpassion , Source Hamann -High-res pics after the jump
Here at Carscoop we wouldn’t dare call Hamann’s newest Ferrari based creation a “Miracle”; a bleached disaster maybe, but a miracle? No way. Matt black paint, orange-juice stripes and 20’’ rims apart, Hamann’s individualized F430 also boasts Lambo (…) styled wing doors and a performance jump of 50hp -540Hp in all. The latter was accomplished thanks to the new motronic programming including a new rear silencer plus a sporty high-performance header and sport steel catalyst. If you know your stuff on Novitec then you’ll have noticed that the magic word here is “Evoluzione” which translates to an addition of 20Hp over the “stock” Novitec Ferrari F430 Bi-Compressor’s 636Hp. The German tuner managed to raise output to 656Hp by revising the compressor and updating the engine management system. Funny enough, the Evoluzione still retains the same performance figures as the stock version with 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) coming in 3,7 sec while maximum speed continues to stand at 216mph - 348 km/h. As you may have already guessed, this is not just about a drag race between an ordinary Smart and a lusty Ferrari F430. This Smart is smarter than you think as its owner has thrown out it's original 3cylinder 0,8 liter engine and fitted it with a 180Hp Suzuki GSX-R 1000 motor.
