Bristol Fighter T - 1012Hp & 1.405 Nm of torque!

Now who's your daddy? Power crazy Bristol is ready to break quite a few records with its new version of the Fighter coupe, dubbed "T". And by gosh, does it have the credentials: a twin turbocharged 8 litre V10 engine that pumps out 1012 Hp at 5.600 rpm & 1036 lb.ft / 1.405 Nm of torque at 4.500 rpm! Still not convinced? Well according to Bristol, the Fighter T's power curve at the rear wheels after all loses, still reach 896Hp & 917 lb.ft of torque!

It's potential maximum speed can theoretically exceed 270 mph (434 km/h) but Bristol electronically limits it to a more than sufficient... 225 mph (362 km/h) though I'm not so sure that I'd like to be caught in a Bristol at that speed. Anyway, the Fighter T needs less than 3,5 sec to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h). First deliveries of Fighter T are expected in September 2007. Via: Jalopnik
